Firefighters are working hard to contain Southern California wildfires that have destroyed 20 homes and threaten several hundred more in rural areas. Winds are gusting up to 25 mph in southeastern San Diego County, where a 2,000-acre fire is continuing to grow and stress fire lines.

This fire creates further demand on fire crews who have been battling a 150-acre wildfire that has posed a potential threat to as many as 200 homes in the Murrieta area. Please be in prayer for those battling the fires and the families involved. May the Lord give added strength, protection and mercy to those facing this difficult situation.
